Description

Convection, schmonvection.

The Doomworld Heretic Speedmapping Sessions, spearheaded by Walter Confalonieri, are an ongoing series of map packs for Heretic and ZDoom. Similarly to the DoomWikiLogoIcon.png32in24, participants have 24 hours to create and submit their entries. The quality of the maps therefore varies wildly, but they all tend to have a simple layout and a simple, straightforward gameplay, with few traps and ambushes.

Session 1 offers five maps designed for single player mode. Sessions 2 and 3, lumped together, offer a mix of deathmatch and duel maps. Session 4, meant for Skulltag, offers three "Capture the Flag" maps.
