This function was used as a fake stub until the real version was implemented
Actually, this function was added well after the original A_LoopActiveSound because Strife used it to play sounds at specific intervals. It does not loop the sound at all. If the sound is exactly eight tics long and you call this function repeatedly, you end up getting something that sounds like a looping sound. A_FLoopActiveSound was probably a bad name for this function, since at present it's only used by WaterDropOnFloor to make the sound slightly irregular. -- Randy Heit 22:49, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
