Heretic is a first person shooter with a medieval theme, made by Raven Software. It features an inventory, weapons that can be powered up, flight, and some rather original weapons. Heretic was the second game to license the Doom engine (first being Raven's own "Shadowcaster", running on an early alpha of the Doom engine).
