DECALDEF limits?

I have a discovery. I'm not sure if this should be changed or not:

The Decal ID must be a number between 1 and 255.

I tried using DecalID of 384 in both DECALDEF in the ZDoom SVN build, and Decal thing in ZDoom's Doom configuration built into DoomBuilder.

It worked. Should the above line information be updated to reflect this? I think the UDMF lifts the argument limit of arg[x] <= 255.

I haven't touched the older Vanilla Doom or Hexen-based Doom formats in a long time, so I don't know about those.

You were right, the limit is actually 65535. --Gez 22:29, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
